I鈥檓 really excited to announce a significant milestone in our journey. Whisk has agreed to be acquired by Samsung and join聽.听The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
The last 12 months have been amazing鈥攚e鈥檝e grown our team from 14 to 32, tripled our revenue (we鈥檙e profitable), and we now power more than half a billion recipe interactions per month.
We first started working with Samsung in the UK back in 2016, and quickly saw the unique opportunity to further scale and strengthen our platform with one of the most successful companies in the world. Now, together, we have the potential to power experiences all around the world.
Our goal has always been to help businesses build integrated, intelligent, and meaningful food experiences for consumers. By joining Samsung we believe we can deliver on that mission and unlock new ways of adding value to our partners and users.
Our plan is for the entire Whisk team to stay along for the journey, and we will continue to grow and invest in new products to accelerate our progress. We鈥檒l also be investing in key areas to support and grow our partnerships with the world鈥檚 leading recipe publishers, CPG brands, grocery retailers, IoT companies, or digital health providers.
