WHO WE ARE
World Piano Teachers Association USA-Missouri was founded on 4/27/2020 as a part of the World Piano Teachers Association, a member of Alink-Argerich Foundation. Kyu Butler, NCTM was inaugurated as the first President and Artistic Director of WPTA USA-Missouri. Tugce Tari-Roth was appointed as the Assistant Director of the Amateur Piano Competition.
WPTA USA-Missouri was founded to support young professionals, students and piano communities. WPTA USA-Missouri provides opportunities to perform at concert series for all levels of piano players including amateurs, young students, and professionals. Memorial Concert for the Atlanta Shooing Victims
To raise the awareness of #StopAsianHate and offer our condolences to the victims and their families, WPTA USA-Missouri presents a Memorial Concert for the Atlanta shooting victims. Twelve professional performing artists and university professors residing in the US will participate in this event. Please join us on 5/22 for this Memorial Concert and support #StopAsianHate.

Call for Compositions
World Piano Teachers Association USA-Missouri calls for compositions for the new project "Music of Our Time."
If selected, the concert will be premiered in November, 2021 on YouTube @ WPTA USA MISSOURI.
Compositions should be composed for piano solo and pianists will be provided.
The theme of the concert is "Love and Death". It can either be one movement, or up to three movements. Total performance duration should be no longer than 7 min.
The deadline for the submission of composition is 7/01/2021. The selected compositions for the concert will be posted on WPTA USA Missouri homepage.
